How does a Chinese Medicine Practitioner make a diagnosis?

A Chinese medicine practitioner gathers diagnostic information through four methods:

  • Looking,
  • Listening,
  • Asking,
  • Touching,
Simply by employing these four areas of investigation, traditional practitioners can accurately assess physical and emotional imbalances of the internal organs and re establish harmony.

Most important examinations are based on examining the tongue and wrist pulses.

The condition of tongue its overall colour and coating can tell the doctor about the condition of internal organs.

Each of us has over a hundred different pulse patterns which doctor has been trained to differentiate and tell the state of internal organs

The practitioner treat each patient with their own unique treatment plan suited to their individual physical requirements.

All our Chinese Medicine Practitioners are fully qualified in Chinese herbal medicine and register with RCHM (Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine) in UK.
